Women’s Day 2025 Initiatives

Health Checkup Drive

A dedicated health checkup camp was organized to promote preventive healthcare awareness and provide essential medical screenings. Qualified medical professionals conducted basic health assessments and consultations, ensuring accessible support for participants. The initiative reinforced the importance of early diagnosis, well-being, and community-focused healthcare outreach.

Art Exhibition

An art showcase celebrating creativity and talent of women artists across different disciplines. The exhibition provided a structured platform for artists to present their work, interact with attendees, and gain meaningful recognition. It encouraged creative expression while strengthening community appreciation for women-led artistic contributions.

Old Age Home Visit

A heartfelt visit to an old age home where we interacted with the residents, shared conversations, and created moments of joy and connection. The initiative focused on emotional engagement, companionship, and social responsibility. It aimed to foster empathy among participants while supporting the well-being of senior citizens.

Honour to Women Achievers

Recognizing outstanding women leaders for their achievements and contributions across diverse sectors. The ceremony highlighted individuals who demonstrated excellence, resilience, and leadership within their respective fields. Through formal recognition and public acknowledgment, the initiative aimed to inspire the next generation while reinforcing the value of impact-driven contributions to society.

Walkathon

A symbolic walk promoting unity, health, empowerment, and collective strength. Participants joined together to demonstrate solidarity and raise awareness about women’s resilience and leadership. The walkathon reinforced the message of active participation, shared responsibility, and community-driven progress.

Excursion

An empowerment-focused excursion was organized where girls travelled through public transport to explore the city independently, encouraging confidence, awareness, and experiences beyond their regular home-to-college routine.

Inspirational Skit – Tribute to Salumarada Thimmakka

A powerful theatrical performance was presented highlighting the inspiring journey of Salumarada Thimmakka, the renowned environmentalist known for planting hundreds of trees. The skit emphasized environmental responsibility, perseverance, and the impact of individual action on society, inspiring young participants to contribute towards sustainability.

Young Achievers Recognition & Certificate Distribution

As part of Women’s Day 2025 celebrations, young achievers were recognized for their excellence across academics, arts, leadership, and community engagement. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to encourage continued growth, confidence, and contribution to society.
